Whatever your computing needs, LadyBird Computing are here to help. Whether it be just a bit of help or a guiding hand, or something much more serious, a quick call can easily get you back on the right track.
Here are just a few of the regular items covered:
For more detail on some of these, please use the menu to the left.
For any items not covered here, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Broadband routers and wireless networks can be particularly confusing - and even if you've got it working, are you sure it's totally secure? For example, an insecure wireless router could allow people outside your home to use your connection.
Or maybe you're struggling to set up your email accounts on your new PC, or to transfer all your work and pictures etc across from an old machine.
What about installing some new software and getting it all configured and arranged so that it fully meets your needs and works the way that you want it to?
Whatever your position, if you could do with a bit of a hand then please get in touch.
If your machine seems to be running very slowly, then it could be time for a service to get it back into tip-top condition - just like cars, boilers and lots of other machinery, computers need a bit of regular attention and cleaning up from time to time.
Having trouble connecting to the internet? CD drive stopped working? Machine keeps crashing? You are not alone! All computer users experience problems at some time. Fortunately many issues are not too serious and can be fixed quite easily. Even if you have unfortunately been hit by a virus or other malicious software, spyware etc, it can be sorted out.
If your machine looks to be dead, it may be a simple component failure in which case it could be brought back to life with, for example, a new hard disk drive. Or it could be a software problem eg. needing the operating system to be re-installed. In all cases, if the problem can be fixed it will be done at a reasonable price, and if the potential cost makes a repair uneconomical then I will tell you!
Have you thought about what would happen if your computer failed and you lost all your work, photos, music etc? Backing up your data is vital - and would also be useful if the machine were to be stolen.
I can perform individual backups for you and/or advise on the best way to take care of these things for yourself in future.
If you need any assistance or guidance at all, LadyBird Computing is here to help.
